If your photo prints are included in the price of the gallery, a particular budget can be allocated for this purpose.
You can determine your budget, as well as the available formats and pricing of different print sizes.
The client can, for example, choose more photos and thus exceed the given budget.
Then, Mafelo will calculate an additional fee for the extra printed photos.

An example

The photographer allocates 20 EUR for prints in the gallery price.
Therefore, they must set a budget in Mafelo at 20 EUR.
The photographer transfers the printed photos in two formats at a set price.

Hence, in the “Print formats” tab, they set two formats with their prices:
15×10 – 1 EUR
15×21 – 2 EUR

Due to the above, the client has 20 EUR to spend and can choose 2 print formats for their photos.
They can also order any photo in multiple formats, e.g. 10x15 and 15x21.
Mafelo displays to the client the funds used for photo prints, and the amount they have left or by which they have exceeded the budget (that is, how much they will have to pay extra), in real time.

No budget for prints displayed - prints are not included in the gallery price

If you include prints in the price of the gallery, no budget is allocated for this purpose.
Nonetheless, the client can be given the option to order some prints at an additional fee.
To make this option available, the photographer must determine the available formats and their prices in the "Print Formats" tab.

An example:
The photographer does not include prints in the price of the gallery, so the budget is set at 0 EUR.
The photographer allows to order prints in two formats at a set price.
Thus, in the "Print formats" tab, they set two formats and their prices:
15×10 - 1 EUR
15×21 - 2 EUR

Hence, the client is not provided any prints in the base gallery price.
When selecting photos for processing, the client can order prints according to the formats and prices set by the photographer. Mafelo calculates the final cost of printing the photos.

The photographer doesn’t print photos at all.

If the photographer does not print photos at all, then budget must be set to 0 EUR, and in the "Print formats" tab, no photo formats and pricing should be filled.
