1. What is a friendly link?

A friendly link is an abbreviated name for a link to a public gallery, complete with the individual name. It does not have to composed of random characters. You can use the name of your studio and the title of the gallery in the link to make it more prominent and memorable. From now on, it's up to you how the link to the public gallery is displayed to the client. Your friendly link can take be, e.g., https://mymafelo.mafelo.net/rp/92341/gallery-gr1.

2. How to set up a friendly link?

To set up a friendly link, you must first configure your Mafelo subdomain. To do so, click "My account" - "Settings" and then go to the "Your subdomain" tab.

After typing the name of, for example, your studio in the "Your subdomain (e.g. myrstudio") field, click "Save" and your subdomain will be changed.

Then create a public gallery.

After uploading photos and filling in all the information, click "Share gallery" in the upper right corner.

When you click the "Share gallery" button, you will go to a view where you can see what your "Friendly Link" looks like. Next, you can protect the gallery with a password and copy the link to share the photos with your clients.
