This guide shows how to register with HotPay and set up payments in Mafelo.
After completing the setup, you will be able to enable the ability to pay for photoshoots and bookings using online payments.
First and foremost
Remember! To activate your HotPay account, you need to set up bookings in Mafelo and add the Terms and Conditions of the services you offer (You don’t know what the Terms and Conditions should contain? Click and read).

After adding services, blundles and Terms and Conditions, go to the " Booking" tab -> "Booking settings" and check the "Display the default privacy policy on the booking page" option and then click "Save":
After setting everything up, enter your booking address. Two links should appear at the bottom of the page (Terms of services and Privacy Policy):
At this point you can move on to HotPay registration and configuration
HotPay registration
To register for HotPay, go to the HotPay website by clicking link (our referral link).
Adding a store in HotPay
After activating your HotPay account, log in to the HotPay dashboard and select "Przelewy online i Blik" from the right-hand menu, and then "Nowy sklep".
A form will appear, in which you must enter the details of your booking site. In the fields:
Nazwa serwisu - enter your name, which will be visible to clients at the time of payment
Opis serwisu - briefly describe the type of services provided, e.g., photoshoots and photo sales through the Mafelo portal
Adres URL - provide your link to the booking site, e.g. yourstudio.mafelo.net!
Adres regulaminu - it should be a link leading to the Terms and Conditions page on your booking site HotPay configuration tab
HotPay configuration
Once your store in HotPay is verified, you can proceed to the payment configuration in Mafelo.
1. Log in to the HotPay dashboard and click on the "Lista sklepów" tab.
2. In the list of stores, click "+" next to your store. A "Sekret usługi" will appear.
3. In Mafelo, go to the My account - Settings tab, and choose Online payments.
4. Next, in the HotPay tab (in Mafelo), click Configure HotPay
5. In the Sekret usługi field, input the Sekret usługi assigned in the HotPay panel.
6. In the HotPay panel, go to the store details by clicking "Pokaż więcej".
7. After clicking "Pokaż więcej" enter the "Ustawienia" tab:
8. In the Ustawienia tab, in the Adres notyfikacji field, enter the following address: https://payments.mafelo.com/api/v1/gateways/hotpay/updatestatus
It is very important as without this address set up, we will not receive payment information and will not mark client payments as completed!
9. In the Hasło użyte do notykacji field enter your chosen password.
The password CAN NOT CONTAIN SPECIAL CHARACTERS (only letters and numbers) and it needs to be long (at least 20 characters).
Enter the same password in Mafelo in the "Hasło użyte do notyfikacji" field
10. Make sure that the "Tryb testowy" field is set as Wyłączony.
11. Finally, click Aktualizuj at the bottom of the form
At this moment everything should be ready to go. Now, click "Test the integration - run the payment test" in Mafelo.
A test 2 PLN payment will be made to ensure that interaction was successful.
The bottom of the page displays marketing consents and POK (Client Protection Program) for 3,99 PLN, these are not necessary to make a payment.
Note: Mafelo does not charge an additional commission for online payments. The commission is charged only by the operators - according to the rate specified in the contract with the photographer.
