How to extend the validity of photos for download?
Photos for download in Mafelo are valid by default for 12 months from the moment they are added to the gallery. But don't worry about missing this deadline – we will send you a notification 3 weeks before they expire, giving you plenty of time to react.
Extending the validity of photos for download
- Go to the Galleries tab in the left menu.
- Click the Expiring tab located on the top bar above the gallery list.
- Select the galleries on the list where you want to extend the photo download time (you can select one or multiple galleries).
- Click the green Extend the validity of selected galleries button.
- Check the displayed summary, which shows the exact number of extended galleries and the total cost of the operation (deducted from your gallery balance).
- Click the green confirmation button, for example, Extend 2 galleries.

If you run a lot of galleries or want to store photos for download without any time limits, check out our Unlimited plan! With the Unlimited plan, you can add an unlimited number of galleries and keep photos for download for as long as you want.

Yes, your client can receive a reminder about expiring photos. For the client to receive it, you must enable this option. Go to the Settings tab, select Gallery notifications, and check the option Notify clients 21 days before photos for download expire.
What is the cost of extending photos validity in Mafelo?
Extending the validity of photos for download for another 12 months costs the equivalent of one gallery. This gallery is automatically deducted from your account balance.
What happens to the photos for download after their validity expires?
After the validity expires, photos for download are permanently deleted from Mafelo.
