Photo export to Mafelo Desktop

The export option is used to automatically generate a list of images selected by the client for processing or printing.

You can export directly to any of the graphics programs indicated or to our "Mafelo Desktop" application. It will automatically create a folder with photos to be processed or prints to be developed.

Download the Mafelo Desktop app - for Win or Mac, respectively: https://desktop.mafelo.com Go to Mafelo, to the gallery from which you want to order prints or download the of photos ordered by the client.
Then, go to the "Client orders" tab and click the "Export photos" or "Export prints" button, choosing the "to Mafelo Desktop" option;
for multiple orders, you can use the "separate folders” option , creating a separate folder on the hard drive for each order.

A window with a script containing the list of photos ordered by the client will appear on the screen.
Click "Copy to clipboard".

This guide shows how to register with PayNow and set up payments in Mafelo.
After completing the setup, you will be able to enable the ability to pay for photoshoots and bookings using online payments.

Important: The PayNow option is only available to registered business owners. If you’re operating an unregistered, small-scale business, you can use Stripe, HotPay or PayPal payments.

Remember! To activate your PayNow account/store, you need to set up bookings in Mafelo and add the Terms and Conditions of the services you offer ( You don’t know what the Terms and Conditions should contain? Click and read).

There is no need to write down the numbers manually, they can be found very quickly, automatically, on the computer.

Managing the gallery after sending it to the client

1. When did the client view the gallery and which photos did they put in the cart?

To see if your client viewed the gallery go to the "Client orders" tab. The green banner will display information about which photos the client viewed and when.

If they have not opened the gallery yet, the banner will be yellow with the information that the client has not yet viewed the gallery contents.

2. How to check what photos the client has in the shopping cart?

To check which photos the client has put in the shopping cart, click the "Display photos in the cart" button in the upper right corner of the "Client orders” tab. You will be redirected to a page on which you will be able to view the photos added to the cart by your client.

How to use public galleries?

1. What is a public gallery?

A public gallery is a single link for multiple people. This gallery type can be used for e.g. photojournalism, school or corporate photoshoots. You can easily share the photo gallery through a link to all the people involved in the photoshoot. Each client can place a separate order, and Mafelo will prepare a list of orders for you, e.g. for each parent for a school photoshoot.

2. How to create a public gallery?

To create a public gallery, on the Mafelo site, click the "Create a gallery" button, then select "Public gallery" from the list.

Fill in the gallery details, including:

change the currency, if required set the pricing for your gallery
