Imagine your photo shoots selling themselves, even while you sleep or relax during the off-season. Sounds like a dream? With the Vouchers feature in Mafelo, it's a reality. Clients love buying "last minute" gifts, and a voucher for a photo shoot is the perfect present.


Introducing vouchers to your offer is the easiest way to increase revenue and fill your calendar for the future. And the best part? Setting it up takes less time than drinking your morning coffee.

Here is how to launch voucher sales in 3 simple steps.


Step 1: Prepare your offer (if you haven't already)


To sell a voucher, you need to define what it is for. If you already have packages set up – skip this point.


If you are just starting, add your services and packages (e.g., Family Session -> Standard Package).


💡 Tip: You don't need to configure working hours or a full calendar! Just the service name, package name, its content, and price are enough.


Step 2: Enable voucher sales


This is where the magic happens. Decide which of your services can be bought as a gift.

  1. In the photographer panel, go to the Settings tab, then select Vouchers.
  2. You will see a list of your packages. Check the ones for which you want to enable the voucher purchase option.
  3. Set the voucher validity (the default is 12 months).


And that's it! Your vouchers are technically ready for sale.


Step 3: Show the world your new offer!


The best offer is the one clients can see. After enabling vouchers, a new "Buy as a gift" button will appear next to selected packages on your booking page.


Your last task is to copy the link to your booking page and share it:

  • On Instagram (Link in BIO and Stories).
  • On Facebook.
  • In your email signature.

Now just wait for notifications about new orders! 😍


💰 How do clients pay for vouchers? (Online payments vs. manual payment)


You have full flexibility in choosing how you settle payments.


Option A: Full automation (Recommended) Enable Online payments in Mafelo. The client clicks "Buy", pays via quick transfer, and the system automatically sends them the voucher code. You just receive a success notification. Zero manual work.


Option B: Custom payment information (e.g., traditional bank transfer) You can handle sales yourself. You just need to set up instructions for the client.

  1. Go to Settings -> Online payments.
  2. Scroll down to the "Additional payment information" section.
  3. Enter instructions there, e.g., your bank account number.

In this case, the client will see payment information after the purchase. Once you receive the payment, you must manually mark the voucher as "Paid" in the panel so the client receives their code.

What does the client receive after purchase?

The client receives an email confirmation and a unique voucher code. We do not send physical cards – this is a 100% digital and eco-friendly solution.


How does the client redeem the voucher?

In the current version, the client (or the recipient) contacts you directly (by email or phone), providing the voucher code. You set the photo shoot date and verify the code in your panel.


Why do I see "Beta Version"?

The voucher feature is new to Mafelo! We are giving you a solid foundation that allows you to start earning now. We are constantly working on developing this feature (e.g., allowing clients to book a date using the voucher code).
