Updates - April 2025 (Improvements to consents and Crystal Albums)
At Mafelo, we are constantly working to make your work even more comfortable and efficient. We are pleased to present two new improvements that you will certainly appreciate in your daily work with clients – both individual and in the case of preschool photo shoots.
We know how important the issue of consent for the publication of photos is. Until now, the tab with consents was located in the 'Your Profile' section in the client panel, which may have been less intuitive for some of you. We listened to your feedback and decided to change that!
The 'Consent for Publication' tab has been moved to the main menu of the client panel and is now immediately visible at the top of the page. Thanks to this, your clients will easily find and complete the necessary consents.
Greater convenience for clients: Easier location of the consent tab will increase the number of clients who grant consents right when selecting photos.
Saving your time: You will no longer have to explain to clients where to find and how to grant consents.
Clarity and transparency: Consents are now in one, easily accessible place.
This is not the end of our work on improving consent management! We are planning to introduce more conveniences soon, such as:
Asking for consents during order placement: Clients will be asked to grant consents immediately after placing an order 😍
The ability to add your own consents: You will be able to define and add your own consents, tailored to your needs.
The second new feature concerns the integration of Mafelo with Crystal Albums. We know how important it is to efficiently manage print orders, which is why we have introduced an improvement that will make it easier for you to identify galleries when placing orders in Crystal Albums.
When sending photos from Mafelo to Crystal Albums, you will now see the full order name in the Crystal Albums panel. This name will contain both the order name (which you chose yourself, gallery name by default) and the order number. If you are not yet using batch packaging, I encourage you to read the article about bulk packaging.
Easier order retrieval: Thanks to the full name containing the gallery name and order number, you will identify the correct order faster when placing it in Crystal Albums.
Reduced risk of mistakes: Clear labeling of orders from specific galleries minimizes the risk of sending the wrong photos.
We believe that these two new improvements will significantly affect the comfort and efficiency of your work. More visible consents will facilitate communication with clients, and the full order name in Crystal Albums will streamline the print ordering process.
