# Photo export to Capture One

The guide demonstrates how you can easily export client-selected photos to Capture One.  
​**Important!** Follow these steps for the images from the selected gallery.

1. To export the images that the client has selected to Capture One, click **Export photos** above the selected photos, and choose **to Capture One**.

2. A new tab will open with a list of files, as can be seen below:

3. In Capture One, select the Library tab (highlighted icon):

4. Copy the list of files and paste in the in the Capture One search engine. After pasting the list, the photos will appear in the Images window.

5. (Optional) You can create a collection/album of photos selected by the client. To do this, click the three dots symbol next to the pasted file names.

6. A window will appear with the option to create a smart album. Click the **Create Smart Album** button and enter the name of your album.

After saving, a new photo collection will be created. You will be able to find it in the **Library**, in the **User collections** tab:
