# Changing the watermark in an existing gallery

The watermark is added to the photos **during their upload** them to the gallery.

You can change the **watermark** and adjust its opacity in an **existing** gallery.

1. To do this, click **My Account** (in the upper right corner), then " **Settings**", and select " **Watermark**" ( [https://app.mafelo.com/settings/watermark](https://app.mafelo.com/settings/watermark)).
2. Change the design and opacity of the watermark in Mafelo settings; you can check the result of selected settings in the preview window.

3. Click “ **Save**”
4. Go to the "Photos" tab in the gallery in which you want to update the watermark and **add photos** of your choice again.

The watermark in the client's gallery will be **updated**.

**IMPORTANT!** On the preview of photos in the gallery, you may see a different watermark than the one you have set. To see the actual watermark, click on the thumbnail to enlarge the photo.
