At Mafelo, we are constantly developing tools to help you sell more and save time. We have introduced several key changes to the voucher module that you asked for in our community group and chat. Here is what you will find new in your panel:



1. Custom questions in the vouchers purchase form


No more emailing back and forth after a voucher purchase to ask for invoice details or a dedication message! Now you can configure additional fields that the client must fill in during the purchase.


What can you use this for?

  • Dedication: Ask the client to enter a personal message ("To whom", "From whom") if you offer personalized vouchers.
  • Shipping: If you offer elegant, printed invitation cards, ask for a shipping address or a Parcel Locker number – we also plan to add a dedicated feature for shipping address and Parcel Locker selection soon.
  • Invoice details: If the client needs an invoice, they can provide their Company Name and VAT/Tax ID immediately.


How to set it up?

  1. Go to Settings -> Vouchers tab.
  2. You will find the section "Additional questions during voucher purchase".
  3. Click "Add question", enter the text, and decide if it is required. You can also change the order of questions by dragging the arrow icon.


You will find the customer's answers in the email notification and in the details of the purchased voucher in your panel.



2. Deferred payments via Stripe (Klarna, Afterpay)


We give your clients more flexibility. If you have integrated online payments via Stripe, you can offer "Buy Now, Pay Later" options.


This means your clients can use services supported by Stripe (like Klarna or Afterpay/Clearpay) to buy a gift today and pay for it comfortably later. This is a great solution that increases conversion when selling more expensive sessions.


To use this option, you must have an active integration with Stripe.


⚠️ Important: How to activate deferred payments?

  1. Check your Stripe Dashboard: Log in to your Stripe account and ensure that payment methods like Klarna or Afterpay are enabled in your payment settings.
  2. Enable in Mafelo: Go to Settings -> Online Payments in Mafelo and make sure Stripe is active. The available payment methods will appear automatically based on your Stripe configuration.



3. Selling vouchers without booking options


We have introduced a mode where the "Reserve the date" button disappears, and the client only sees the purchase option. This is an ideal solution when you don't have dates yet, e.g., for spring outdoor sessions, but want to start selling now!

4. Tidying up the voucher list


We like order – it's part of taking care of digital hygiene!

If your list contains vouchers that clients created but never paid for, you can now easily remove them. Just go to the voucher list, find the unpaid voucher, and click "Actions" -> "Delete".


Remember that this operation is irreversible!
